The reluctant Facebooker

Is it wrong to feign interest in Facebook, Twitter and all that jazz when one’s true purpose is simply to shamelessly peddle a few of one's books so one can afford to keep travelling?

Surely it’s better to own up that after years of preaching the evils of Facebook, I'm now a pathetic turncoat who really just wants everyone to go to my author page and “like” it so I can feel like Sally Field and be done with all this shit.

... but deep down you know you'd rather spend your hard-earned holiday time and $$ on somewhere awesome like this Nicaraguan treehouse...
